- First, Eloise was going to the wedding as a maid of honor. Next, her boyfriend -- the Best Man -- broke off their own relationship, and she wasn't going at all. Then she decided she was going anyway, and at the reception got put on table 19, right at the back of the ballroom, a "table that should have known to send regrets," as the mother of the bride once said, "a table that could disappear in the middle of the wedding and no one would even notice." She and her fellow misfit guests decide to shake things up a bit, as Eloise meets a mysterious stranger and her plan to make her ex-boyfriend jealous gets a little more layered than she imagined. - Who's in it? - Anna Kendrick of "Pitch Perfect" and "Into the Woods" stars as Eloise, with her tablemates played by Tony Revolori ("Spider-Man: Homecoming," "Dope") Stephen Merchant ("Logan," "The Office,") June Squibb ("About Schmidt," "Nebraska,") Craig Robinson ("This Is the End," "The Office,") and Lisa Kudrow ("Friends," "Bojack Horseman.") Wyatt Russell from "Everybody Wants Some!!" and "22 Jump Street" comes in as the Best Man, with Australian actor Thomas Cocquerel ("Kidnapping Mr. Heineken") as welcome distraction, Huck. - Who's behind it? - Director Jeffrey Blitz won a Primetime Emmy for one of his episodes of the US version of "The Office," more recently creating and helming short episodes of "Review" for Comedy Central. He teamed with Anna Kendrick for his feature debut, 2007's "Rocket Science," and here worked from a script written by Mark and Jay Duplass, better known for their appearances in "The Mindy Project" and "Transparent" respectively, as well as "Togetherness," which they co-wrote together. - When's it out?
